As a Tax Accountant Advisor, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic team, driving innovative tax solutions and holding key responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Tax Planning: Train and grow into a Tax Planning Advisor, guiding clients through comprehensive tax reduction and financial strategies.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and review complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Accounting Integration: Record tax Adjusting Journal Entries (AJE) into QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Issue Resolution: Resolve tax notices, research complex tax matters, and draft technical memos and conclusions.
- Client Management: Facilitate client onboarding, manage a portfolio of clients, and ensure a long-term positive relationship.
- Process Efficiency: Leverage technology and automation to enhance firm processes and efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with federal, state, and local tax legislation through continuous development.
Qualifications
- Education & Credentials: Accounting degree required. CPA or EA credential is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally within a public accounting setting.
- Software Skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Task Management: Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
