About the Role
The firm is hiring a full-time Tax Strategist to support continued growth. This position is a strong fit for an early-career tax professional interested in real estate and advisory work. You’ll work closely with experienced CPAs and clients, gain hands-on exposure to complex real estate structures, and build your skills in strategic tax planning. The role offers a clear path to Senior Tax Strategist or Client Advisory Lead within 12–24 months, depending on performance and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, and trusts
- Support tax planning and projections focused on real estate transactions and investment strategies
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and summarize findings
- Review financials for compliance and planning opportunities
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Assist with audits, reviews, and other advisory services
- Stay current on tax law and real estate industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of tax preparation experience (real estate experience a plus)
- Familiar with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Lacerte, or UltraTax
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Castone
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
