Full-Charge Bookkeeper – Remote

Remote Telecommute Accountingfly

Full charge bookkeeper will work on Small and Mid-Sized Companies in various industries.

  • Prepare Quarterly and Annual Payroll tax returns
    • Prepare Sales tax returns
    • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Enter and classify client data
    • Handle routine client questions and with clients to obtain necessary information for completion of bookkeeping
    • Work with multiple staff members to complete projects
    • Respond to IRS notices independently
    • Prepare journal entries for month and year-end close
    • Utilize QuickBooks with ability to train clients

To be considered for this Full Charge bookkeeping opportunity, please have:

  • 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience (must be able to receive raw data and be able to prepare year-end closeout)
    • A solid understanding of accounting. Must know debits/credits, types of accounts, and how they relate to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Comfortable working on multiple open projects and clients at one time
    • Willingness and ability to work extra hours, if necessary
    • Intermediate or better knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Windows operating systems
    • Willingness and eagerness to embrace new technology and software
    • Proficient with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
    • Energized professional
    • Client first mentality, confidentiality a must
    • Excellent communication skills to work with clients and coworkers
    • Ability to accept constructive criticism and immediately apply
    • Positive, team-oriented mindset
    • Tax preparation experience (a plus but not required)
