Job Description:
A confidential, well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced, client-focused, and passionate CPA to join its team as a Remote Senior Tax Specialist. This fully remote role is ideal for a tax professional who brings creativity and care to tax strategy and compliance while helping clients grow their businesses and reach their goals.
 
The Remote Senior Tax Specialist will:

• Build and nurture strong client relationships.
• Design and implement creative, effective tax solutions.
• Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Review and analyze financial statements.
• Perform tax research and provide technical guidance.
• Assist with Federal and State audits and represent clients before the IRS.
• Contribute to the growth and knowledge of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 7+ years of experience in tax and public accounting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or QuickBooks Desktop.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CCH Axcess
• Good taste in music.

Additional Information:This position requires a minimum of 55-hour work weeks for approximately 10 weeks during tax season (February through April).
