A Boutique Advisory and Accounting Firm, specializing in non-profits is seeking an experienced accounting professional to serve as a Contract Controller.

Location: REMOTE within the US
Compensation: $40- $60 per hour DOE
Working Structure:

- Hours: 10-20 hours per week
- Team Composition: Collaborate with a mix of full-time and fractional staff, including international team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute light payroll duties and manage bill payments using Bill.com and Gusto
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Perform budgeting and forecasting for clients
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing offshore staff to streamline operations
- Assist CEO with client communications and deliverables
Qualifications:
- Experience Level: Senior level or higher with 3-4+ years in a Senior Bookkeeper/Controller role
- Skills and Attributes:
- Self-starter with a proactive approach
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple clients
- Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred (but the right candidate can be trained)
Software Experience Needed:
- Proficiency in various accounting software systems (especially QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct)
- Familiarity with the Karbon workflow system
- Bill.com for bill pay and Gusto for payroll
