A locally owned, 150-person CPA firm is seeking an experienced Remote Tax Accounant with Trust and Estate experience to join their family-friendly firm.

Location: REMOTE within the US
Compensation: $80,000- $120,000 DOE
 
 

 
 

As an Experienced Tax Professional, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of complex gift, fiduciary, trust and estate tax returns.
  • Conducting detailed reviews on a variety of tax returns and raising potential tax issues. 
  • Completing tax planning for clients.
  • Performing research on technical accounting and tax issues.
  • Mentoring staff, offering guidance and direction.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all client matters.
  • Performing other accounting and tax duties as needed.

 
 

Education, experience, and skills we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a public accounting firm, including preparation and/or review of gift, fiduciary, trust and estate tax returns.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and tax.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities well.
  • Team focus.
  • Positive attitude.
