Remote Accounting Manager, NFP client

Location: REMOTE within the US
Compensation: $120,000- $140,000 DOE
 
Our CPA firm client is looking for a Remote Accounting Manager to work with a large non-profit client.  Here are a few things the role will require: 

• Experienced doing accounting and grant work for non-profits
• Selecting and implementing a new accounting platform 
• Client onboarding; serving as the point person with the new NFP client ($47M in revenue; $4Mto $5M in donations
• Identify and fix broken processes to create efficiencies
• Grow a team as needed; train existing staff on NFP accounting
• Opportunity to expand this niche within the firm.
• Prior work history in public accounting
• CPA highly preferred

Desired Attributes:

• 7+ years combination of public and nonprofit full cycle accounting experience.
• 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Proven success in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency with and ability to quickly learn new technology including Microsoft suite, Gmail, Zoom, Xero, QuickBooks, Expensify, Bill, Dropbox, Payroll Relief, Practice Ignition are all pluses.
