Compensation: $65,000- $85,000 DOE
The firm is seeking an experienced, self-motivated tax professional to prepare tax returns (Federal, State, & Local), and provide consulting services, tax planning, and research for individuals, partnerships, trusts, corporations, and estates. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience with high-net worth clients in a remote employee-centric working environment.

Responsibilities:
- Work with clients in the healthcare industry and other personal service industries
to determine the best tax-saving and bookkeeping strategies - Handle client communications through the use of portal messaging, telephone,
and video conferencing - Prepare individual and business returns with multiple states, mostly 1065, 1120S;
some 1120 and 1041s - Assist with accounting and bookkeeping to maintain clean books
- Prepare tax projections
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Tax research for client issues
Qualifications:
- BA in Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of tax preparation experience
- Recent work experience in a public accounting firm environment, working with high-earning clients and/or medical professionals.
- EA or CPA preferred
- Must have a take-charge, get-things-done attitude
- Good financial accounting background and solid understanding of financial statements
- Experience using UltraTax and QBO
- Highly organized/Detail Oriented
- Professional written/client communication skills
- Gain an understanding of operations, processes, and business objectives, and apply that knowledge to support firm activities
